Narayana Engineering College
Narayana Engineering College(NEC) is an engineering college in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India, run by Narayana Educational Institutions. Established in 1998, NEC provides technical education offering both graduate (Masters) and undergraduate (Bachelors) courses in Engineering and Technology. NEC is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur (JNTUA). NEC has been ranked among the top 50 of all 550 engineering Colleges in Andhra pradesh.
Narayana Engineering College at Gudur, Andhra Pradesh, India, was established in the year 2001 with the avowed goal to build a top level Technical Institution of Excellence that is capable of producing high calibre engineering professionals needed in the nation building. The Institute, affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. The college offers 4 undergraduate programs and 3 Postgraduate Programs.
==History==
From 1998, undergraduate courses offered are Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, and Instrumentation Engineering. Courses in Electronics and Computers and in Bio-Medical Engineering were added later. As of 2010, NEC has a total intake of 480 students per year.
